Everyone at Tamarack Keeshonden is proud to announce the arrival of our latest litter of puppies!

This morning between 6:00 am and 7:20 am Maya (Darkenwald Chasing Moonbeams) delivered five healthy puppies. Maya has blessed us with 4 boys and 1 girl all of whom weighed between 10.1 ounce and 12.6 ounces. They are all eating well and doing great.

The proud Daddy is our male William (Am/Can CH Twin Trees Aristocat).

We need to give our thanks to our son Michael who assisted Maya with the delivery of the first three puppies, our daughter-in-law Katie for assisting Michael, and to Cathy Bosnic for rushing over this morning to observe and help. We also want to thank Gloria Zopfi who helped us throughout Maya's pregnancy.

A very special thank you to Suzette Lefebvre for allowing us to co-own Maya.

Mom and puppies are doing fabulous. Pictures will follow soon.

Henry and Smokey -- click on photo for larger image Henry was bred by Lisa Dankert of Raylen kennels. Henry and his brother Kota came to live with us in early January while we found buyers for these two nice young boys. Our friend Suzette Lefebvre of Darkenwald Kennels in Virginia called us in late January and put us in touch with Bob and Milvi Gill. It was not long before Henry was on his way to his new home and his new buddy Smokey (3 ½). Henry is a wonderful little guy with an amazing spirit and temperament. You may see Henry walking with his new best friend Smokey and his owners with a pine cone in his mouth! Stop and say hi if you see them.

/Emma & Torrey -- click on photo for larger image

Emma (formerly Aurora-Tamarack Northern Lights) goes to her new home in Salt Lake City, Utah to live with her sister Torrey (Tamarack Tuscarora). Emma was shown at select shows and is pointed. She was not a huge fan of the show ring. In early January Kate called asking for a second girl but not another puppy. Knowing Kate & Michael as well as we did seemed like it was meant to be. Emma would be going to a fabulous home to live with her sister. Kate decided to change her name to Emma to avoid confusion with Emma’s sister Torrey’s name. Both young ladies are owned by Michael and Kate Lahey in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Kota goes to his new home in Minneapolis. Kota is a 13 week old puppy we were helping Lisa Dankert with. It is from her Clancy x Willow litter. Kota’s new owners are Nathan and Kelli Lewis a young couple from the Twin Cities area. Kota has lots of attitude and yet can be sweet all at the same time. He is a real cuddler.
